Description
Rich, fudgy brownies shaped into footballs and decorated with white chocolate laces and a pinch of sea salt. These treats are perfect for self-care or game day parties.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (15-16 oz) dense, fudgy brownie mix (e.g., Ghirardelli or Trader Joe’s)
- Vegetable oil or melted butter (amount as directed on box)
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1/2 cup (120g) creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup (85g) white chocolate chips or baking bars
- 1/4 cup (35g) peanut butter chips (optional)
- Pinch of sea salt flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare brownie batter according to box instructions using oil or melted butter and eggs.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let brownies cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once completely cool, break brownies into chunks and roll into 1.5 to 2-inch balls. Gently elongate the ends to form football shapes.
- Place white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until mostly melted. Stir vigorously to melt remaining chunks.
- Transfer melted white chocolate to a piping bag or Ziploc bag with a small corner cut off.
- Pipe a line down the center of each brownie football and add small U-shapes for laces.
- Sprinkle with a tiny pinch of sea salt flakes.
- Let set at room temperature for 10 minutes or in the fridge for 5 minutes until chocolate is hard.
Notes
Brownies must be completely cool before shaping to prevent sticking. If chocolate is too thick for piping, add a tiny drop of coconut oil or vegetable shortening. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Do not freeze as texture may change.
