High-Protein Strawberry Cheesecake Smoothie

  • Author: Luciana
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

A creamy, high-protein smoothie that tastes like strawberry cheesecake without the sugar crash. Made with simple ingredients like Greek yogurt, cream cheese, and frozen strawberries, it’s a quick and satisfying breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (225g) plain Greek yogurt (2% or non-fat)
  • 2 ounces (55g) full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (150g) frozen strawberries
  • 1 scoop (30g) vanilla protein powder (whey or plant-based)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 ice cubes (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (optional, for healthy fats)
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese (optional, for extra protein)

Instructions

  1. Prep ingredients: Let the cream cheese sit on the counter for 10-15 minutes to soften, or microwave for 10-15 seconds.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt, softened cream cheese, vanilla protein powder, vanilla extract, and any optional sweeteners or almond butter to the blender.
  3. Add the frozen strawberries and ice cubes (if using).
  4. Blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high speed. Blend for 60-90 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust consistency by adding milk or water if too thick, or more sweetener if not sweet enough.
  6. Pour into a glass or travel mug and serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure the cream cheese is softened to avoid chunks. Use frozen strawberries for a thick, milkshake-like texture; if using fresh, add ice cubes. This smoothie is best consumed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
