Sparkling Blackberry Ginger Mocktail: Easy 5-Min Summer Drink

  • Author: Luciana
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 6-8 servings 1x

Description

A refreshing, alcohol-free summer mocktail made with fresh blackberries, ginger ale, and lime juice. It is simple to make, visually stunning, and perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries (300g)
  • 2 bottles ginger ale (1.5 liters)
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice (45ml)
  • 46 lime wheels for garnish
  • Ice (as needed)
  • Optional: 6-8 fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Wash and pat dry the blackberries, removing any stems. Place them in the bottom of a large pitcher.
  2. Using a muddler or the back of a fork, crush the blackberries against the side of the pitcher to release juice and color. Do not over-muddle to avoid bitterness.
  3. Pour the fresh lime juice over the mashed berries and stir gently to combine.
  4. Fill the pitcher about halfway with ice.
  5. Slowly pour the chilled ginger ale over the ice and berry mixture to preserve carbonation.
  6. Gently stir once or twice to mix. Taste and adjust with more lime or ginger ale if needed.
  7. Serve immediately with a lime wheel on top.

Notes

Use fresh, ripe blackberries for best flavor. Ginger ale must be ice-cold to prevent the drink from going flat. Do not over-muddle the berries to avoid releasing bitter seeds. The berry-lime base can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours, but add ginger ale just before serving to keep it bubbly.
