Ultimate Football Charcuterie Board: Pepperoni Roses

  • Author: Luciana
  • Total Time: 35-40 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

An impressive, no-cook game-day charcuterie board featuring rolled pepperoni roses, brie, cheddar, and various accompaniments, designed for visual appeal and flavor balance.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3040 slices thin pepperoni (810 oz)
  • 1 small wheel Brie cheese (8 oz)
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 200g (7 oz) assorted crackers (water crackers, seeded rounds, football-shaped)
  • 100g (3.5 oz) dill pickles
  • 100g (3.5 oz) green olives
  • 150g (5 oz) fresh grapes
  • 50g (1.75 oz) raw almonds, toasted
  • 3 tbsp (45g) fig jam

Instructions

  1. Take the brie out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before serving to allow it to reach room temperature.
  2. Cube the cheddar into 1-inch pieces and slice large pepperoni slices in half.
  3. Place small bowls containing olives, almonds, and pickles in strategic corners of the board to create visual anchors.
  4. Place the fig jam in a small dish near the center of the board.
  5. To make pepperoni roses, roll a slice of pepperoni tightly into a cylinder, then coil it into a spiral shape. Repeat to make 8-10 roses and arrange them in a cluster near the brie.
  6. Place the brie wheel in the center of the board as the focal point.
  7. Arrange the cheddar cubes around the brie, leaving gaps for crackers.
  8. Fan out the crackers around the edges of the board, overlapping slightly, and place football-shaped crackers near the roses.
  9. Fill any empty spaces with grapes, extra nuts, or pickle spears to create a continuous flow of color and texture.
  10. Optionally drizzle a tiny bit of olive oil over the brie and add fresh herbs for garnish.

Notes

Ensure all cheeses are at room temperature for best flavor and texture. Keep pickles and olives in separate bowls to prevent crackers from getting soggy. The board is best enjoyed within 2 hours of assembly and does not store well once assembled.
